Don't Do It

How do you feel about fasted cardio?  Some people love it, some people dont like it.  I for one do it either way.  I have no preference.  Most mornings, I eat my reals regular and fit in a workout when available.  However, some days I just dont get breakfast.  I wake up just a little bit late and the kids need me for everything (psh, you'd think a 2yr old and a 9 mo old should be able to change diapers, wipe bums, get dressed, feed themselves and clean the house by themselves now right...?) so breakfast becomes a thing of yesterday.  Before I knew it, it was 2 hours after I had woken up and I hadnt eaten anything.  But it was my little window of opportunity to work out.  So...  Yeah, I did it.  I worked out.  BAD IDEA, LAUREN.  Meal prep fail, I had nothing to just pop in my mouth so i could have something pre-workout.  Plus it was a 55 min workout too.  You know its really bad when your stomach is growling through the warm-up.  So long story really short.  I made it through 30 mins before I hit fatigue.  Its crazy when you feel it.  I was warm and doing great, and then my muscles started to hurt, and then i lost my breath and I just couldnt do it anymore.  My energy was all gone.  Literally my first thought was, "...man i wish i had a Gu or something..."  I hate those things, but they give you a fast energy boost.  The rest of the day I spent trying to catch up to my stupid mistake, I had a headache all day and I was in so much pain.  I couldnt even do yoga (sad face.)  Never doing that again.  Worst ever.  Ugh.  Well I got lots of sleep and feel better today but here's how I was yesterday... watching the rest of the workout finish...


Me and my minty protein shake, trying to feel like a person again.  Bah! Twenty mins left in the workout.  Sad.

But Im over it.  Done.
Here is today after some core work and some stretching.
